Beerburrum Road
RPQ Asphalt undertook this important project in Beerburrum QLD that included milling 230mm of existing pavement (16000m2) and replace with two layers of asphalt including a 180mm structural layer using EME binder (4800T) and 50mm of AC14 using A15E binder (3500T) for the wearing course. The asphalt reinforcement product HaTelit C eco was placed by RPQ Sprayseal which is a temperature-resistant grid for effective reinforcement of asphalt layers.
The end result was excellent given the marginal materials at the bottom of the pavement. The results for ride-ability were excellent and beyond the expectations of the customer.
